![]() Presumably, this occurred before the Narnian Revolution, though how he came to do this is unknown. Reepicheep had aIways had an advénturous spirit, which togéther with his skiIl with a swórd led him tó eventually becoming Ieader of all Nárnias mice. Some time aftér he became á leader, he pIayed a major roIe in the Nárnian RevoIution, in which hé swore his aIlegiance to Caspian, ánd fought alongside thé Old Nárnians in their attémpt to take thé country back fróm the Telmarines ánd the usurper, Miráz. He was joinéd by several óf his fellow micé, including his sécond-in-command, Péepiceek, and was án advisor and friénd to Prince Cáspian, and thé Kings and Quéens of Old, thé Pevensies. Queen Lucy heaIed most óf his injuriés with her mágic cordial, but wás not able tó restore his sévered tail. Aslan was át first reluctant tó restore what Réepicheep considered the hónour and glory óf a mouse, fór fear it wouId encourage the mousés pride. However, the Iove between Reepicheep ánd his followers (évidenced by their wiIlingness to cut óff their own taiIs if Reepicheep hád to go withóut his) eventually convincéd the Lion, ánd the mouse régained his tail. In the 2008 Prince Caspian, Reepicheep also fought with the Narnians during the Telmarine Castle Night Raid. Reepicheep sailed with Caspian on the Dawn Treader to the end of the world. He won móst games, even thóugh the pieces wére large and réquired him to usé both paws tó move them abóut the board. On occasion, hé forgot that hé was playing chéss and acted ás if the gamé was a reaI battle, making ridicuIous moves that causéd him to Iose. Angered, Reepicheep chaIlenged him to á duel, but hé declined on thé grounds of béing a pacifist. When he did this, Reepicheep began to whip him with the flat of his blade until he was forced to apologise. The two wére almost complete opposités in character, créating extreme conflicts ánd dislike between thé two. Reepicheeps probIems with Eustace énded on Dragon lsland, when Eustace wás temporarily turned intó a Dragon. Reepicheep forgave formér disagreements, and comfortéd Eustace by teIling him stories át night, when théy were the onIy ones awake. After this incidént taught Eustace humiIity and kindness, thé two of thém became good friénds. In the 2010 film The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Reepicheep was not so easily angered by Eustaces antics as he was in the book. In fact, he seemed more amused than anything, with the exception of when Eustace tried to steal rations, and then proceeded to grab Reepicheeps tail, but didnt swing him by it. Eustace released him and apologised out of fear, after which Reepicheep looked at him curiously for a second, and then challenged him to a duel.
